To promote energy generation from garbage, the DEDE had encouraged 10 local administrative organizations in Nakhon Pathom, Nakhon Ratchasima, Uttaradit, Chaiyaphum, Rayong, Ubon Ratchathani, Buri Ram, Lamphun, and Songkhla to construct and install waste-to-energy units which consist of a biogas generator and a refuse-derived fuel (RDF) system since 2010.

Improvement of Wastewater Treatment Plant of Klaeng Aquatic Processing Food Plant in Klaeng District, Rayong

To cope with increasing wastewater, this project aimed to increase the daily capacity of the wastewater treatment system from 4,500 m3 to 6,000 m3. The anaerobic covered lagoon, consisting of an anaerobic baffled reactor (ABR) and activated sludge, ensures that the wastewater is treated in accordance with the standards set by the Ministry of Industry.
