EIA of the Combined Cycle Power Plant Project for ASEAN Potash Chaiyaphum PCL.

Client : ASEAN Potash Chaiyaphum PCL.

ASEAN Potash Chaiyaphum PCL. intended to develop a Combined Cycle Power Plant Project, located in the Potash and Rock Salt Mining project site in Hua Thale Subdistrict, Bamnet Narong District, Chaiyaphum Province. The aim is to promote steam turbine power generation at the project site. The plant has steam generating capacity of 248 tons/hr. with an electricity generating capacity of 54 MW. Approximately 1,337.8 tons of coal serve as the main fuel for this process.

TEAM GROUP was assigned to offer advisory services, coordination, and environmental impact assessment (EIA).

Environmental Study and Public Participation for the Rojana Power 3 (SPP3) Combined Cycle Power Plant Development, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Client : Rojana Power Co., Ltd. 

The Rojana Power 3 (SPP3) Combined Cycle Power Plant Project is situated in Rojana Industrial Park 3 over a total area of 27 rai. The aim was to further national energy security, particularly in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Natural gas is carried via a 12-inch transmission pipeline. The plant will consume water from Rojana Industrial Park. The water for initial treatment will be reused before being released to a wastewater treatment plant and external water resources respectively. With generation capacity of about 90 MW, the plant exports power to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and retains some power for internal consumption.

Stakeholder Participation Forum for Hanthawaddy International Airport, Myanmar

Hanthawaddy International Airport is scheduled for development about 80 km. to the northeast of Yangon on a land plot of approximately 550 hectares to accommodate up to 12 million passengers per year – thrice the capacity of Yangon International Airport. The airport is expected to be completed in December 2022; it is currently in the initial stage of design.

ESIA for Initial Phase Power Plant of Dawei Special Economic Zone (DSEZ), Myanmar

Client : Dawei Power Company Ltd. (DPC)

The DPC planned to install multiple units of gas engine generators and construct a natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant in Dawei Special Economic Zone (DSEZ) with a combined capacity of 420 MW. The project included facility construction on approximately 37.19 acres of coastal land plot in DSEZ about 800 m. to the west of the Andaman Sea. TEAM GROUP prepared Environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA)  and environmental management plan (EMP) reports covering construction and operation periods.
