PTT plans to expand natural gas pipelines across the country.  The pipelines, 28 inches in diameter, starts at the metering station Wang Noi (MRS Wang Noi), Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, passes through Ang Thong, Sing Buri, Lop Buri, Chai Nat, and ends at Yang Tan sub-district, Krok Phra district, Nakhon Sawan province, giving a total length of 200 kilometers. Construction is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2013.

Out of its commitment to sustainable energy development, Vithai Biopower Company Limited has embarked on the project to set up a biomass power plant in Boryang sub-district, Sawang Arom district, Uthai Thani province. This 9.5 megawatt power plant will use Vithai grass and paddy husks from rice mills for power generation. The power from the facility will be sold to the Provincial Electricity Authority under its Small Power Producer (SPP) project.
