Nam Kam Basin Development

Client : Royal Irrigation Department 

In 1992, HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej gave an initiation to the Royal Irrigation Department to undertake the Nam Kam Basin Development Project to provide water resource for agriculture and consumption for communities in Sakon Nakhon Province’s Mueang Sakon Nakhon and Khok Si Suphan districts, and Nakhon Phanom Province’s Wang Yang Minor District, Na Kae, Pla Pak, Renu Nakhon, and That Phanom districts. The project consists of seven regulators with the capacity of 52.1 MCM, and 26 pumping stations which can provide water for an irrigation area of 42,200 rai.

TEAM GROUP was entrusted with the feasibility study, initial environmental evaluation, and engineering detailed design of irrigation structures.
