On 2 February 2018, TEAM GROUP Foundation and TEAM GROUP in cooperation with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) organized the activity “On the Path to Engineering Profession” for 42 Grade-11 students from Nakhon Sawan School. The students were warmly welcomed by Dr. Chadin Chutachindakate, Head of People Operation Center. He and TEAM’s engineers who have their hometown in Nakhon Sawan gave a lecture and shared experience on being engineers to the students. The students later visited the North Bangkok Power Plant.

On 18 January 2018, TEAM GROUP Foundation and TEAM GROUP led by Ms. Roongtip Koungyuttamongkol, Vice President, Branding and Communications, on the capacity of the Foundation Committee and Secretary, gave a warm welcome to executives, teachers, and students from the Educational and Cultural Exchange Program 2018 between Nakhon Sawan School and Suwon Information Science High School, Korea in their visit to the construction site of the Red Line Commuter Train. TEAM GROUP was entrusted with the survey, design, and construction supervision of the project by the State Railway of Thailand.

TEAM GROUP Foundation in cooperation with the EGAT organized the “Youth Energy Conservation Project” for Grade 5-6 students in schools under TEAM GROUP’s patronage in Nakhon Nayok and Nakhon Sawan Provinces.

Mr. Peerawat Premchuen gave an opening speech at Wat Tha Dan School where 106 students from Wat Tha Dan School, Wat Tha Chai School, Wat Wang Yai Chim School, and Wat Hup Moei School attended the event on 17 November 2017. In this occasion, Mr. Sayan Khachain from EGAT and a group of TEAM staff organized a workshop for the students.

Similar activities were organized on 1 December 2017 at Wat Ban Makluea School in Nakhon Sawan Province attended by 106 students from Nakhonsawan School, Wichawadi School, Wat Ban Makluea School, Wat Khao Mano School, and Wat Sri Sawan Sangkharam School. There, Ms. Roongtip Koungyuttamongkol gave an opening speech and Mr. Virote Suwansamrit from EGAT joined in the event.

TEAM GROUP Foundation presented scholarships and supporting funds for semester 2/2017 to schools under the patronage of TEAM GROUP including four schools in Nakhon Nayok Province namely, Wat Tha Dan School, Wat Tha Chai School, Wat Wang Yai Chim School, and Wat Hup Moei School on 16 November 2017; and five schools in Nakhon Sawan Province namely, Wichawadi School, Wat Khao Mano School, Wat Ban Makluea School, Wat Sri Sawan Sangkharam School, and Nakhonsawan School on 30 November 2017.

And on 29 December 2017 scholarships and supporting funds were presented to Wat Nuan Chan School and Nuan Chan’s Pre-school Center.

On TEAM GROUP’s 39^th anniversary, 12 July 2017, Dr. Sirinimit Boonyuen, Senior Executive Vice President – International Sector, TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Co., Ltd., and TEAM GROUP Foundation committee with TEAM GROUP executives and staff donated money and necessaries to Saints Foundation for the Blind in Thailand represented by Ms. Chanpen Nuanuan, Head of Foundation Office and Ms. Duangharit Phuphaeng, School Director.

TEAM GROUP and TEAM GROUP Foundation have organized the painting contest for primary students in schools under TEAM GROUP’s patronage in Nakhon Nayok and Nakhon Sawan Provinces for seven consecutive years. Apart from these two groups, this year a new group – children of TEAM GROUP’s staff is added. The topic for this year’s contest is “A Painting for King Rama IX” in commemoration of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

For Nakhon Nayok group: The winner was Porntida Sopa, the runner up was Kwanruen Somsai, and complimentary award was presented to Patrada Boonman; all of them were sixthgraders from Wat Thadan School. For Nakhon Sawan group: The winner was Nopadol Muangplian from Wat Ban Makluea School, the runner up was Niranan Prathumnan from Wat Khao Mano School, and the complimentary award was presented to Nattawut Rakklin from Wichawadi School; all of them were six-graders. For TEAM GROUP’s children group: the winner was Wasawat Nopchinda, a first-grader and son of Mr. Weeramon Nopchinda; the runner up was Payut Piyawong, a third-grader and son of Ms. Rujira Piyawong, and complimentary award was presented to Chanya Boonchan, a fourth-grader and daughter of Ms. Nisanart Sakorn.

Awards were 3,000, 2,000 and 1,000 baht respectively. All the winners and runner ups received the awards and certificates from Dr. Prasert Patramai on 12 July 2017.

TEAM GROUP has a strong intention in returning benefits to society. Last December, TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Co., Ltd. had signed an MOU on academic cooperation with Siam Cement PCL.

After signing that MOU, a voluntary activity following in the footsteps of King Rama IX was co-organized by the two firms. TEAM GROUP by TEAM GROUP Foundation led by Mr. Prasong Wangrattanapranee, Senior Executive Vice President and SCG led by Mr. Monsit Sarikaputi, Director of Research and Development, Siam Research and Innovation Co., Ltd., and their volunteers joined hands in building a semi-permanent check dam at Khao Krao, Tha Khlor Sub-district, Kaeng Khoi District, Saraburi Province on 26 May 2017. They were welcomed by the headman, Mr. Thung-ngern Srimala.

TEAM GROUP by TEAM GROUP Foundation has continuously handed out scholarships to schools in Nakhon Nayok and Nakhon Sawan Provinces for 12 years.

For the first semester of 2017, Dr. Prasert Patramai, TEAM GROUP Chairman and President of TEAM GROUP Foundation and Mr. Chawalit Chantararat, TEAM GROUP President led a team of executives and staff to present scholarships to Wat Thadan School, Wat Tha Chai School, Wat Wang Yai Chim School, and Wat Hup Moei School in Nakhon Nayok Province, and Nakhon Sawan School, Wichawadee School, Wat Ban Makluea School, Wat Sri Sawan Sankharam School, and Wat Khao Mano School in Nakhon Sawan Province, on 16 and 26 June 2017 respectively

Ms. Roongtip Koungyuttamongkol, TEAM GROUP’s Head of Business Promotion and Communications Department, in her capacity as committee member and secretary of TEAM GROUP Foundation, represented TEAM GROUP in presenting Baht 187,620 to flood victims in the South of Thailand to the Thai Red Cross Society. The donation was received by M.R. Priyangsri Watanakun, Assistant Secretary General in Fund Raising.

Mr. Peerawat Premchuen, TEAM GROUP’s Senior Executive Director, and Mr. Sanit Dansomsathid, EGAT’s Director of Transmission System Business and their executives presented scholarships and computers to students of Wat Pru Sri School, Surat Thani Province represented by Ms. Natchuda Thongchan, School Director, on 16 March 2017. This is the second phase of the project which was started last June.

TEAM Group Foundation in cooperation with Nakhon Sawan School organized the activity “On the Path to Engineering Profession” for M.5 students from Nakhon Sawan School, a scholarship activity which has been continuously organized for five years. The students visited the TEAM GROUP headquarters on 10 February 2017 and were warmly welcomed by Dr. Prasert Patramai, TEAM GROUP’s Chairman and President of the TEAM GROUP Foundation, who was an alumni of the school. On this occasion, Dr. Aphichat Sramoon, Senior Executive Vice President–Human Capital, gave a special lecture about the engineering profession.

The students later visited the North Bangkok Power Plant where they were welcomed by Mr. Sanit Dansomsathid, EGAT’s Director of Transmission System Business, and Mr. Viphop Phanu-amphai, Chief of Public Relations and Public Participation. Mr. Phatphum Khumsa-ard, Engineering Level 4, gave a brief information and led the group on the Power Plant visit.

Dr. Prasert Patramai, TEAM GROUP’s Chairman of the Board, presented scholarships for semester 2/2016 to nine schools under the patronage of TEAM GROUP: in Nakhon Nayok Province and Nakhon Sawan Province. Executives from EGAT also participated in the events after the two organizations have signed the Academic Cooperation.

TEAM GROUP Foundation in cooperation with the EGAT organized the “ASEAN Youth Energy Conservation Camp” for 39 students in Prathom 5-6 from four schools under TEAM GROUP’s patronage in Nakhon Nayok Province, namely Wat Tha Dan School, Wat Tha Chai School, Wat Wang Yai Chim School, and Wat Hup Moei School during 11 and 12 November 2016. Mr. Peerawat Premchuen, TEAM GROUP’s Senior Executive Director and TEAM GROUP Foundation’s Vice President, presided over the opening ceremony while Mr. Sanit Dansomsathit, EGAT’s Director of Transmission System Business and his team presented a lecture on energy conservation for young generations.

Mr. Chawalit Chantararat, TEAM’s President, and TEAM GROUP executives and staff participated in TEAM GROUP Family Day activities by planting coral and releasing fish at the Tourism Promotion Office, the Royal Thai Marine Corps, Toey Ngam Beach, Sattahip, Chon Buri, hosted by Commander Surapol Boonrueng and his staff.
