A subsidiary of TEAMG, ATT Consultants Company Limited, and TEPCO PG were jointly awarded a contract for the “Lumphini Underground Substation Project” by the Metropolitan Electricity Authority of Thailand.
Dr. Aphichat Sramoon, Chief Executive Officer of TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Public Company Limited or TEAMG revealed that a subsidiary of TEAMG, ATT Consultants Company Limited “ATT”; in consortium with TEPCO Power Grid, Inc. “TEPCO PG” from Japan, announced the signing of a consultancy agreement with the Metropolitan Electricity of Thailand Authority “MEA” for the “Lumphini Underground Substation Project” on 24 February 2021. This new substation will strengthen the power system especially the stability of power distribution within business area of Bangkok.
ATT will be the project leader of this project and this is the second project ATT provided consultancy services for the construction of an underground substation for MEA after the Klongtoei Underground substation. ATT and TEPCO have been assigned to perform the conceptual design, cost estimation, solicitation preparation and review installation drawings of Lumphini Underground Substation.
TEAMG and ATT will utilize their 40 years of experiences in planning, design, project management, preparation of tender documents, construction supervision of substations and transmission line to provide qualified services based on engineering standards to MEA and continue to develop as leading Power & Energy consulting firms in the region.
MEA plans to construct this new underground substation in harmony with the Lumphini Park Landscape Improvement Project that will mark its 100th anniversary in 2025 as well as creates pleasant atmosphere and environment in line with the lifestyle of the people of Bangkok.
