TEAM GROUP has recently been assigned as an official consultant by Thailand Tobacco Monopoly (TTM) to manage the construction of its new headquarters and tobacco production facilities following our successful completion of the project site selection, feasibility study as well as its detailed design. Construction will commence in mid 2010 and operations are scheduled to start in 2013. With our integrated expertise in construction and management, we will continue to provide consultancy services in project management.

 

TTM decided that it needed to move its existing headquarters and production facilities to a new location in Rojana Industrial Park, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. This is to improve its manufacturing processes, modernize its organization and optimize value to all stakeholders. The relocation requires expertise in diverse disciplines, not only in construction and machinery, but also in computer program design as information technology will be applied to corporate management to enhance operational efficiency and to eliminate redundant procedures.

 

The new plant will produce approximately 32 billion cigarettes per year.
