Having a combined capacity of 600 megawatt, the units 4 – 7 of the lignite-burning Mae Moh power plant have operated for more than 25 years. Construction of the new plant as replacement for these units was planned to meet the domestic demand for electricity and to ensure national energy security. The new plant, with the 600 megawatt capacity, will be located on an area of 44 rai within the Mae Moh power plant compound.

 

TEAM GROUP is now working on the environmental and health impact assessment of the project. We also conduct the public participation and public consultation activities.
