Gulf SRC Co., Ltd. has signed a supply contract with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). The plan is to develop its power plant in Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Khao Khan Song Sub-district, Si Racha District, Chon Buri Province with the total area of 450 rai. The project area is a generating and selling station belonging to a major independent power producer. Natural gas is its primary fuel and it generates 2,500 MW of electricity. The plant is intended to enhance stability in electric power supply in line with the Power Development Plan (PDP) 2010. Construction will start in 2018, taking about 40 months.

TEAM GROUP was entrusted with the project’s environmental impact study on both physical and biological resources with a focus on quality of life which will be directly and indirectly impacted. Public involvement was also conducted.
